The article below outlines how trends have changed, but also how these values are important, probably now more than ever.

My argument would be how hard is it really to lead with candour, humility, and trust? Is this not how we would all want to lead? Please do not take this challenge as me saying this is how I always lead – it’s my goal, but I don't always get there.

After working with many, many leaders over lots of years in many different countries and industries, I have concluded that we all face a similar barrier – ourselves. Our ego, or lack of confidence gets in the way. We instinctively know what the right thing to do is – but we still do not do it. Instead that little voice in our head takes over and points us in a less productive direction.

So, to truly lead others with candour, humility and trust, we must first be candid with ourselves, be a little humble and trust our judgement.
